I reworked some of the sound design following Phil's feedback, I still need to try the contrazoom's but I think I will experiment with that in maya for my previs. The boy needs a battle cry and a few other vocal effects which I will need to create.
I don't know about you - but I think the end sequence is feeling much more controlled and purposeful now? In terms of the underwater scenes when we down there with the shark and in the murk, my 'mind's ear' is giving me sort of whale song and sonar effects - in a sort of spooky, creepy sense - so in this ballpark:
