The Artist's Toolkit - Render Layers Part 1: Software Rendering

I did the render layers tutorial, it was very interesting and I can see it being really useful for rendering out my WIM final scene. EXCITING.

(Comp_1: Using the first basic method in Maya)

(Comp_2: Using a lot of render layers and Photoshop)

(Comp_3: Using the same layers and After Effects)

The differences are rather subtle, but they are visible when you compare them, it's great to have so much control over each pass.
